September 1, 2016 - Zel Technologies, LLC (ZelTech) awarded Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Agency (JIDA) Contract
Zel Technologies Inc. (ZelTech), Hampton, Virginia, has been awarded a $165,272,923 ceiling, cost-plus-award-fee task order under the General Services Administration (GSA) One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) Small Business Pool 4 contract to provide the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Agency (JIDA) with expertise in research, experimental development, and rapid acquisition; development and fielding of counter-threat technologies; and delivering urgent mission solutions in support of operations throughout the globe. Zel Tech will identify and maintain an understanding of risks, vulnerabilities, and capability gaps of the Joint Force to drive rapid assessments, thus enabling informed investments in counter-threat technologies and non-materiel solutions within the combatant command's latest time of value. This task order assists JIDA enable Department of Defense actions to counter improvised threats with tactical responsiveness and through anticipatory, rapid acquisition in support of combatant command's efforts to prepare for, and adapt to, battlefield surprise in support of counter-terrorism, counter-insurgency, and other related mission areas including counter-improvised explosive device. Work will predominantly be performed in Virginia and the National Capital Region; however, contractor personnel will also be embedded as needed with globally deployed U.S. forces. The expected completion date is Aug. 31, 2021. Joint IED Defeat funds in the amount of $2,652,877 are being obligated at the time of award. This task order was a competitive acquisition and three offers were received. GSA Federal Systems Integration and Management Center is the contracting activity, in support of JIDA (GSQ0016AJ0017).
August 25, 2016 - Zel Technologies, LLC (ZelTech) awarded a Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance contract in support of Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate Computing and Communications Division (AFRL/RIT)
Under this GSA OASIS contract, ZelTech will provide engineering and technical support, studies and analyses, surge support and cross-cutting support within AFRL/RIT. This three-year contract was awarded by the Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, NY.
August 18, 2016 - ZEL Technologies, LLC (ZelTech), Awarded Information Exploitation and Assured Systems (INEAS) Contract
Under this GSA OASIS contract, ZelTech and its teammates, Quanterion Solutions, Inc. and Radiance Technologies, Inc., will provide engineering and technical support to AFRL/RIG intelligence and cyber RDT&E programs. May 23, 2016 - Zel Technologies, LLC (ZelTech) awarded Military Intelligence Dissemination, Knowledge Management and Event Reporting Collation Services (MIDKMERCS) Contract
Under this GSA OASIS contract, ZelTech and its teammates, Intelligent Software Solutions (ISS) and Triquetra Technologies (T2), will facilitate the reliable data and media sharing with USCENTCOM members and Coalition partners, facilitate the integration of people, processes, and tools/technology across the USCENTCOM Intelligence Enterprise and provide technical and subject matter expert coverage twenty-four hours a day to create operational, entity and intelligence reports from unstructured and structured sources to support data fusion. This three-year contract was awarded by the Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, NY and is valued at $20M.
March 8, 2016 - Zel Technologies, LLC (ZelTech) awarded Speed of Light Data Analysis (SOLDA) contract to provide United States Prompt Diagnostic System (USPDS) Research and Development Support to the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC)
Under this contract, ZelTech will provide Research and Development (R&D) support focused on data analysis and evaluation for USPDS and AFTAC. ZelTech brings to the USPDS contract expertise in source propagation physics; nuclear phenomena detection and sensor designs; modeling and simulation; and nuclear weapons phenomenology and effects. Leveraging this experience ZelTech subject matter experts will be responsible for providing R&D data analysis focused in fields such as radio frequency, electromagnetic pulse, prompt gamma, radiation transport, electromagnetic spectrum, air fluorescence, and optical signals in support of USPDS and AFTAC. This USPDS R&D Contract continues ZelTech's long history of providing highly specialized technical services to AFTAC and the DOD.
