ZelTech’s professional services staff provides Scientific, Engineering, and Technical Assistance (SETA) services for a variety of customers that focus on homeland defense, port security, intelligence, and counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) programs. How do I apply for a particular job?
To view a listing of employment opportunities, please visit our Careers page. You can narrow your search by choosing a location, or you can click on the "Search" button to review a listing of all posted jobs.
Each job posting you view will have a link at the bottom of the page stating the following “Apply for this position” or a “Previous Applicants” log in box. Once the response form opens, you will need to fill in all of the required information indicate by an asterisk. When you hit the "submit" button, your resume will become part of our searchable database.
Is my candidate information/profile stored with ZelTech indefinitely? If not, how long does it stay active?
Candidates are deleted after two years of inactivity, if there are no current applications in process. This means that unless you have actively applied for a position(s), updated your profile, or a recruiter has processed your profile/application within that time period, your profile will be deleted and you will need to create a new profile upon application.
Do I have to register in order to use your job site?
You don't have to register to browse through job openings. However, if you want to apply for a position, you will need to register by creating a unique User ID and a password. Registration allows you to save your information so you don't have to re-type it each time you return to our site. You will have the ability to save information such as resumes and other attachments.
If I register, who will see it?
If you apply for a job, then you, authorized human resources administrators, and the hiring manager will see your Application data and Resume only. Your password will never be shared.
How do I log into the system, if I forget my password?
You can access your account by clicking on the password help link on the Search Openings page. You will be asked to enter your email address then you will receive an email with your password.
Why am I asked about my gender and ethnicity?
This data is not required; it is optional. This information will be used strictly for required government reporting and will not affect the outcome of your application.
Why am I asked to explain how I heard about the job?
Collecting “source” information allows ZelTech to better understand how applicants learn about our employment opportunities. If you select “other” from the initial drop down menu, please indicate the specific source in the text box. If you learned of this opportunity through a ZelTech employee, please choose “employee referral” in the primary “source” drop down menu and provide us with that individual’s first and last name in the text box.
Can I change my resume once it has been posted?
You can always upload an updated resume.
How will I know if my application has been received?
When you apply for a position, a confirmation will be emailed to you to let you know that your resume has been successfully submitted. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your email address may have been entered incorrectly.
Will you contact me regarding the status of my application?
Unfortunately, due to the volume of resumes we receive, we’re not able to contact people individually with specific feedback about their applications. However, a confirmation message will be emailed to let you know that your resume has been successfully submitted. If after careful review it is determined that your experience and skills don’t match a specific job for which you’ve applied, we will let you know by email.
How many times can I apply for a job?
You can visit the system as often as you like and apply for as many jobs as you like.
How can I be sure the position for which I submitted my resume online has not already been filled?
Positions posted on our site represent openings that are current at the time they are posted. Postings are updated frequently, including being removed from the site once they are filled. When you submit your resume for a position, your resume will be placed among others being considered. If your resume is the best match to the position's requirements, a ZelTech representative will contact you.
Will you contact my current or previous employers or attempt to gather any other information about me once I submit my resume?
We will not contact your current or past employers, nor attempt to gather additional information about you, without your authorization - which comes at a later point in the recruitment process.
I no longer wish to be contacted or considered for job opportunities. What should I do?
You may update your account and delete any position you have applied for.
If I was referred for a specific position and was not hired, will you consider my resume for other opportunities?
To be considered for other positions, you will need to submit your resume online for each position of interest.
Can I mail my resume or give it to someone who works at ZelTech?
In order to be formally considered for employment at ZelTech, you must submit your resume online for open positions at www.zeltech.com/careers.
